What is a product feed or product catalogue?


What is it?

  • A list of all products a company sells online and all of the data related to each product including: SKU, product image, descriptions, price, etc.
  • The list usually comes in a CSV or XML format and is continually updated based on client's inventory and promotions.

What can Cybba do with access to a Company’s product feed?

With access to the up-to-date data in a company product feed, Cybba can provide 3 types of Product Recommendation Solutions:

  • Onsite Product Recommendations
  • Email Product Recommendations
  • Embedded Merchandising(needs template work done but fully functional)

How is this different from the standard Cybba onsite and email solutions?

With access to a company’s product feed—specifically the up-to-date feed. Cybba is able to apply algorithms based on our platforms data collection to provide more accurate product recommendations based on real world consumer behavior ultimately increasing site user's likelihood of converting. Creates more personalized feel.

What is it?

Certain fields are required and indicated in the table below. Optional fields are not required but are highly recommended as they will streamline your campaign management, help improve performance, and/or enhance your shoppers’ experience.

When you create your product catalog, there are different required fields for different industries. Your product catalog should match your business type. The product specification list below can be used as a guide to refer back to.

Character Requirements: The image_link must start with http:// or https:// followed by the full URL of the pimage. All symbols must be encoded. E.g. $ must be replaced with %24.
